Kolin K. K. The Factor of Understanding in Modern Education as a Problem of Intellectual Security

Abstract ◊ This is a paper presented at the 9th International Scientific Conference “Higher Education for the 21st Century” that took place at Moscow University for the Humanities on 15–17 November, 2012. The contributor suggests his view on the problem of intellectual national security, which, in his opinion, is directly connected with the issues of modern education, the intellectual potential of the society and people’s understanding of actual social challenges.
