Abstract ♦ This is a survey of an interview of the academic secretary of the Shakespeare Committee of the Russian Academy of Science Nikolay Zakharov for the BBC Russian Service programme “The Fifth Floor”. It was devoted to the 450th anniversary of Christopher Marlowe's birth.
