Abstract ◊ The article covers the formation of the Soviet pedagogical values within the so-called period of “ottepel” (the Khrushchev thaw). The work depicts the historical prerequisites that had influence on this process. Despite the communist ideology humanistic values came into use in the Soviet pedagogy.
Keywords: pedagogical values, axiology, socialist humanism, technocratic approach, spiritual wealth, spiritual values, inherent worth of personality.
