Abstract ◊ The article addresses the question of a correlation between behavioral motives of Shakespearean principal tragic heroes and psychological typology based on temperament dominating traits. The structure of a dramatic conflict in Shakespearean tragedies is determined by a type of psychological interaction between characters.
