The article was written within the framework of the project “Neo-Shakespearisation in Contemporary Artistic Culture” with the support of a grant from the President of the Russian Federation (MK-1865.2013.6).

Abstract ♦ The article examines the concept of Neo-Shakespearisation in the context of contemporary artistic culture. The author proposes its definition and a number of theses formulating some specific features of this cultural phenomenon.
